# Harvestworks — Farming Automation & Factory-Building Game

> From a single seed to your own empire.

Manage your farm. Automate production. Build beyond the fields.

Harvestworks is a farming and automation strategy game set in a detailed 3D landscape with an elevated camera. Its long-term vision is to grow a working farm into an interconnected food, chemical and industrial empire.

## Who is it for?

Players who enjoy automation games, factory building, production chains, resource management, logistics and industrial tycoon games. The focus is organizing work and designing a functioning business. Optional tractor driving from the elevated strategy view is part of the planned new demo.

## The vision

- Establish a farm: bring land, machinery, storage and transport together.
- Automate routine work: set priorities, allocate machinery and protect production reserves so you can focus on expansion.
- Build production lines yourself inside buildings: place and connect machinery, then supply them from your fields and storage.
- Expand toward food production, chemicals and industry. Specific chemical products and factories have not been announced.
- Watch physical operations work together. Transport distances, stock levels and production capacity create bottlenecks that can be addressed through planning and investment.

These are development goals. The revised demo is being designed around sowing, early delegation and a player-built production line; its exact scope is still open. The wider production and trade vision is not promised for the alpha.

## Platforms and release plans

Planned platforms: Windows, macOS and Linux.
Alpha release and testing target: Q4 2026.
Beta target: Q1 2027.
First full release target: Q2 2027.

## Indie game developer

I’m a programmer who grew up on a farm, with extensive experience running agricultural businesses. I’m building Harvestworks to share what I love about that world with you: the machinery, the planning, and the satisfaction of seeing it all come together.

I want to make a beautiful game that feels like real farming. Soil on the tyres. Worn iron and steel. Dust and dirt from a day’s work. There is beauty in a machine that has earned its scratches, a job done well, and a crop you have grown. That is the feeling I want you to experience in Harvestworks.

My vision starts with a farm and grows into something much bigger: an automated food, chemical and industrial empire that you build your own way. I want the details of agricultural work to matter, and automation to give you room to think bigger. Above all, I want you to look at the business you have built and feel proud of how it works.
